It was of a high standard, boasting modern amenities that made my experience enjoyable. The location was also excellent, conveniently situated near popular attractions. on a chilly evening, I found the room to be rather cold, which detracted from the overall comfort.
One minor inconvenience was the darkness in the room, making it difficult to navigate without turning on the bright lights. the bar prices were quite steep, and I heard a loud banging noise throughout the night, which I reported but remained unresolved.

We enjoyed the location and amenities, all the provided essentials. There were cereal and eggs in bar during breakfast. The location was easy, within easy walking distance of Annesley Hall.
Quite busy area.

Since changing to a Holiday Inn from the Dakota, most of the touches that made the Dakota so enjoyable and stylish have been retained. Well designed and rooms are excellent, restaurant remains top notch. Magnificent for the price.
A few of the Dakota touches have disappeared - small things but as I stayed here a few times under the old branding I notice. I'm sure other guests on a first time visit would not! So, the bar no longer offers its magnificent cocktails, quite why when all the wherewithal to make them is still displayed behind the bar is anyone's guess. Bring them back Holiday Inn people - we spent less time in the bar as a consequence! In room television channels seem to have reduced and I missed the hand cooked breakfast of yore, now a pretty standard (but still nice!) buffet arrangement.

The room was beautiful and perfectly clean, the reception staff were friendly and efficient.
The restaurant staff are very slow, and have been every time we have visited. The food was excellent but as a vegetarian who has visited Dakota 3 times already this year I find the lack of vegetarian dishes boring.

Iv used Dakota a few times before, and i find it one of the smartest within reach of mansfield. I like everything apart from the lighter wallet when I leave. :)

A Wonderful Stay at Mour Hotel
I had the pleasure of staying at Mour Hotel in Mansfield for a business trip, and it was chosen by my director. I was impressed by the hotel's stunning architecture and welcoming atmosphere. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. My room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a lovely ambiance that made it easy to unwind after a long day. The facilities were great, including a well-equipped work area and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, which made my work tasks much more manageable. I also enjoyed dining at the hotel;
Minor cleanliness issues observed.

The food at the Dakota was excellent & rooms were cosy,inviting & clean
Kept bumping our legs on the surround of the bed. Quilt could have been fuller & no information in the room regarding breakfast times or facilities in hotel.was let down by staff at restaurant after asking them not to present a bill for dinner but to add to our room as we wanted to pay for our guests however without our knowledge one of our guests paid the bill

A beautiful luxury hotel with everything you could wish for, in particular the staff on site were fantastic. Especially Jimmy the night porter, that guy will cut off his arm for you if you asked him.
We did not like having to go home...
